Thousands of Reflections - or ToR - are a four-piece band from Nottingham (UK) who describe themselves as fitting musically somewhere between indie, alt-rock and metal. Adam Barnes & Aidan Blenkinsopp play guitar and handle vocal duties along with Simon Curd who also plays bass, with James Housley on drums. From the band’s inception up until autumn 2007, when he and the band amicably parted ways, Dan Snowdon performed bass and vocals. Olly Thomas played drums in the band from 2005 - 2008 until he left the band for personal reasons.
ToR formed in 2005 and released their first self-recorded demo (which is available to download here) shortly afterwards.
2008 sees the release of ToR's debut EP 'Drones & Sharp Teeth' on Headroom Records. Recorded by Guy Elderfield at Random Recordings in Nottingham, ‘Drones & Sharp Teeth’ saw a limited release in 2007 and was met with excellent reviews, which praised the band for their rich harmonies and strong melodies, and for their idiosyncratic and creative songwriting approach and sound.
'Drones & Sharp Teeth' will be in shops from 3rd November 2008, but is now available to buy from our shop. The release of the EP will be supported by extensive gigging throught the UK.
